Rhonda's Every Bodies Yoga at Rayba's!

Rhonda's styles of teachings include several different yoga disciplines such as Iyenger, Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative with an influence on traditional practice of meditation, Chakra’s and Bandha’s. Her senior and physically challenged gentle yoga class is a mix of Asana and breath work using props and chairs, with some standing flow stretches.

Rhonda began her ongoing practice of yoga in February of 2008 at Sun Moon Yoga Studio in Ann Arbor. She received her RYT 200 Teaching Certification under the instruction of Master teacher Sondra O’Donnell E-RYT 500. She has recently upgraded her certification to E-RYT 200 with specialties in Children's Yoga (RCYT).

Getting Started: Here are a few pointers to assist in making your yoga practice one of joy, comfort, and ease. Loose comfortable clothing is most appropriate, you may come as you are or change in the dressing room. As with any fitness class it is best not to eat a heavy meal prior to a yoga class.

Yoga is done on a yoga mat. Some mats are provided. However, most students prefer to have their own mat.

To allow for all ages and fitness levels to enjoy yoga, Rhonda will be offering two different styles of yoga classes at Rayba’s.

On Friday mornings at 9:00am Gentle Yoga a soft sweet class that starts in a chair and advances to include a kind, mild, stand flow or work out that concludes with a final guided relaxation.

The cost is $48.00 per six week session. Drop in’s are welcome at $10.00 a class.
